- After disassembly is complete, gently rinse each element in liquid detergent. Soap from the toilet series may also be used. Care of the BIPAP breathing mask requires special care when washing the soft parts that touch the skin.
- After rinsing, each part needs to be rinsed and dried. For rinsing, use a large volume of liquid or use running water. Choose a location out of the sunlight for drying.
As for the mask holder, hose and seal, regular cleaning also prevents them from becoming infected. In general, they should be replaced annually.
- It is best to use gentle substances to wash your stpaps. Remember to rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and air dry.
- It is safe to wash the hose with warm water and soap. But you can’t dry it with open air, or the ultraviolet light will ruin the plastic. Frequency of care
- The pH was neutral. Special disinfectants are available in specialized stores.
- Once every 5-7 days, or more often, wash the tube. Prepare at least 7-8 liters of soapy water. Fill the tube several times with the solution for the best effect.
- Filters for cleaning, if you have them, also wash: for coarse cleaning – once every two weeks. Change it every 6 months, and for fine cleaning – monthly. Both cleaning and replacement are very important. Clean filters clean the air better and prevent dirt and dust from clogging the unit.
